Location & Directions

Our hotel is located in Kaiserschützenstraße near the Main Train Station in Salzburg.

By car coming from Munich/Villach:
Take A1 Motorway exit 292 / Salzburg Mitte. After exiting the motorway follow the signs for Salzburg and the “Zentrum/Bahnhof” (City Centre/train station). Look out for the Hotel Signs with an orange circle. On the bridge crossing the Salzach River keep in the left hand lane and then turn left at the traffic lights into the “Haunspergerstrasse”. Follow this main road and turn right onto “Jahnstraße”. After the second traffic light the hotel “Der Salzburger Hof” is at your left side.

By car coming from Linz/Vienna:
Take A1 Motorway exit 288 / Salzburg Nord. After exiting follow the signs toward the “Zentrum/Bahnhof” (City Centre/train station) and keep right towards the train station after the first traffic light. Turn right at the roundabout and turn left just afterwards onto “Elisabethstraße”. After the second traffic light turn left onto “Kaiserschützenstraße”. The hotel “Der Salzburger Hof” is at your left side.

By train:
Leave the Station building by the main entrance and cross the “Südtiroler Platz” diagonally, keeping the shopping centre Forum 1 to your right until you reach the traffic lights. From there you will already see the bright yellow facade of the hotel “Der Salzburger Hof”. It takes 2 to 3 minutes to reach us by foot.

By plane:
From the airport Salzburg - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart it takes 15 minutes with a taxi or 25 minutes with bus number 2 to the Bahnhof (Train Station). From there it is only a couple of steps to the hotel “Der Salzburger Hof”.
